Some Progress, Actual Progress

Adams ribs hoodie

The last time I showed you my Adam's Ribs Hoodie was at the end of June, and I'd been working on it for about a week.  I've been slowly working on it here and there, picking it up and getting a little bit done when I can, and now I've started the hood!  I know the hood is going to take more time than I think it will (hoods always do), and I've got 27,000 yarn ends to weave in, but I feel like I'm actually on the home stretch now.  I'm planning to get the ends woven in sooner rather than later, before I get back to the hood, just for my own sanity.

Before I do that though, I'm going to finish plying my combination spin!  I can't wait to see how much yarn I have and get it washed!

Have a great weekend!  I'll probably be skeining and washing yarn!

Thinking of you and your spinning brings this song to mind. "Tenting tonight, tenting tonight, tenting on the old camp ground". There are many YouTube versions are available, but I heard it first on my father's old Edison, so I'm giving you a link to that version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RyrPvq8fkdY

Happy spinning and knitting!
