Not Today

No real blogging today. The AC is broken. I've got people coming to take a look at it so let's all cross our needles that this isn't just stupid expensive. (It's the outside box thingy. It's not moving. I know this isn't good.)

Oh dear! I sure hope it isn't anything too hard/expensive to fix. Our AC went out last summer, the compressor died, but fortunately the unit was still under warranty. Good luck!

Best wishes to you Melanie, where you live - although the weather is decent most of the times - AC is a must on those hot / humid days.
Hoping all goes well.

Atleast it conked out before the dead heat of the summer when you can't get a repairman to save your life.
knitting needles crossed!

I can't imagine this is going well for the Bean who does not appreciate the heat!

I hope it gets fixed quickly and inexpensively!

Sending good thoughts that it's something minor and quickly repaired!

In our first house, when we bought it, they gave us some money off for the AC unit being broken... and then I called the guy to fix it and lo and behold, it was a FUSE. A $10 fuse. So here's hoping! We still had to pay $100 for the guy to come and tell us, and replace the fuse... but we felt lucky as all getout. Here's hoping; I'd probably kill without the AC when it's hot.

I wish you the best. We just had to replace ours, yesterday, and it didn't cost little bits, it cost lots and lots. And, when it went up to 97 here today, we were some glad to have spent the money. Hot is hot.
Hope it's just a little, cheapy part..
