Hey, What Are You Wearing?

I've been trying to figure out what I'm wearing to Maryland Sheep and Wool this year, so I can blog it so if any of you are there, you can say HI. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what the weather is going to do this year, so I'm not entirely sure. It does look like it's going to rain, but whether it's going to be intermittent or a downpour all day, I don't know that either. I will be carrying the bag in the photo (it's the same bag I carried last year and it worked great size wise for my junk), but I'm not 100% sure on the Crocs yet. If it's pouring rain, I won't wear them, but if it's just doing light rain off and on, I might. Last year it didn't rain and my feet were black when I came home. On the other hand, feet wash off, Crocs rinse off, and then can be put in the dishwasher. Earlier in the week they were saying it was going to be in the mid 70's, but now they've dropped the expected high temp for the day, so I have no idea if I'll wear jeans or capris or a short sleeved shirt or a cardi.

Basically, I'll be there on Saturday, I WILL have the bag, I MIGHT wear the Crocs, and anything else is just up in the air. If you see a brunette with this bag, yell "Pink Lemon" at her, and if it's me, I'll turn around. If it's someone else, they probably won't. I do plan on going to the Ravelry meetup in the Rabbit building sometime between 11:30-1:00.

Please don't be shy if you see me, I love meeting people who actually read my ramblings! Unfortunately, I don't know what you guys look like, but I've blogged pictures of myself before, so that should help.

If I can narrow down what I'll be wearing better in the next two days, I will, but I don't know for sure if I'll be able to post both days - trying to get everything ready for Saturday and next week is going to be crazy around here, so I need to get some stuff taken care of ahead of time for that too.

I'll be there Saturday too and will try to say Hi. I always hesitate to say hi to my favorite celebrities, don't want to be too much the stalkerish lurker, but I love your designs, and reading your blog, so you wouldn't have given an alert to spotting if you didn't want us to say Hi. Oh well, I'm going to miss you as I'll only be there on Sunday.
But have a great time Saturday!

Hi Melanie,

In Canada, you can get croc's for "colder" weather. They don't have the holes on the top and come with a removable fleese lining. And we all know how knitters love fleese.

Have a great time.

I'll be wearing jeans, a sleeveless turquoise top that has muliticolored nubs all over it and probably a jeans shirt over to keep warm enough. if it plans to really rain, i'll probably have a lavendar rain jacket on. Hope to see you there. I live in Warrenton so i have a little farther to go.

I'm going to be there, too. I think I'll wear my black or white Ravelry shirt. If it's cold and not raining, I'll take along my clapotis (pink, brown, yellow). Because I'll love any excuse to wear it!

De-lurking to say that I'll be there with my daughter on Saturday. I've been reading your blog for a long time. It caught my eye because of your name and I've enjoyed it ever since.
I'll keep an eye out for you.

Melanie in the Pittsburgh area.

This will be my first year at the festival. I'll be there wearing the only knitted item I have actually completed for myself to date - a green Cotton Stria bucket hat with a light blue stripe. It feels like blasphemy to be wearing cotton to the Sheep and Wool festival, but...I've given everything else away!!

Love your blog and LOVE your patterns - hopefully I'll be brave enough to say hi!

No clue what I'll be wearing, but will have a navy blue Girl Scout Council of the Nations Capital tote bag. I'll look for your bag.

Well, the forecast is looking up, although I won't believe it until Saturday! Enjoy the festival! I'll say "hi" if I see you amongst the crowd!
