Mystery Stole 2009?

The short answer is No.

I mentioned that there would be no Mystery Stole this year back in June or so, but since MS4 kicked off about a year ago (whereas the Original MS, MS2 and MS3 all ran earlier in the summer), I have been getting lots of emails and Ravelry messages asking about MS5. To save everyone some time, I thought I'd post again.

Mom and I are just too busy this year for either of us to host Mystery Stole. It might happen again at some point in the future, but not this year. I do appreciate the enthusiasm you all have for Mystery Stole, but neither of us has the enormous amount of time needed to devote to designing and hosting a Mystery Stole.

Thanks for understanding!

Thanks so much for the earlier stoles. I understand how life can take precedence over hobbies. I hope you and your Mom will take up the mysteries again when you have time, energy, and desire to do so.

I'm a bit disappointed but it is totally understandable. Hope that your life settles down next year and you are back in the Mystery stole business again soon.

Women gotta do what they gotta do! (Like keeping the pet-models employed and the kiddies in school!)

Melanie, while disappointed that there won't be a mystery shawl this year, I commend you for the wonderful work and huge amount of time you and your mother have put into the previous knitalongs. I wish you well in whatever occupies your time right now.

Although I'm disappointed, I completely understand. The amount of work involved is daunting!

If the two of you decide to host another KAL in the future, I'll be here waiting to start :-)

Thank you or the stunning KAL's you've hosted in the past, I get so many compliments when I wear them!
