White Tea

DSC04557
I feel like I got a whole lot of nothing done this weekend, but when I took this picture this morning, I measured where I was at, and I've only got a couple more rows before I start the lower edging, so that's a good thing!

I also started running again this morning for the first time in a while. It felt good to be out there again, but I can see how far I'll have to go to get back to where I was. I can also tell that I'm going to need a headband/earwarmer thing. I have one I knit a couple years ago, but I don't want to wear handknits when I run because I don't want to have to clean them every time I run. (Anyone who doesn't think an earwarmer would get sweaty has never had their earbuds pop out of their ears mid run because of ear sweat. Yes, running opened up new and glamorous worlds to me.) Wool is wonderful for many things, but for running I'd rather have high tech microfiber.

Also, I realized this morning that when I do start the Christmas knitting, that will be unbloggable, I will not have blog fodder. Unless I do Christmas knitting as well as bloggable knitting every day, but I've decided I'd rather sleep. I know, it's selfish of me, always with the sleep thing, but that's just who I am. I will probably resort to intermittent blogging, unless I get interesting random pictures throughout the day, then I'll share those when I don't have knitting. So, just a head's up that things might be irregular around here for a bit.

This sleep thing.. it's really unhealthy! You must realize you're addicted and get off it!
Sleep can't replace tea!

(By all means, get you christmas knitting done and as much sleep as you need! :) Your blog readers can wait, I think. I know I can - as long as there'll be pics after Christmas *g*)

You know, if you want handknit combined with microfiber, there is "yarn" made of polar fleece. I've used it to knit a hat for my track running mid to use.

Superwash yarn goes into the machine. Warm and easy.
