And Now For Something Completely Different...
Yesterday I made a tassel necklace! The tassel is made from some leftover leather lacing I bought for zipper pulls on my Holiday in London bag for last year's Camp Loopy. I used silver chain and wired some freshwater pearls and Amazonite beads into it. It's long enough that I decided not to bother with a clasp; I can just take it on and off over my head. It was a fun, quick project and completely different from the knitting, sewing, and occasional crochet that usually happens around here. (I really should get back to my crochet blanket, shouldn't I?)
