The Sharon Show

The Sharon Show

It's finished and blocked!  It blocked out to 20 inches wide by 75 inches long, so it's a nice, wrappable size.  I loved knitting this and it has been a fun project to work on as I adjust to Caleb being away at school (and back and forth for storms too).  When I decided to knit it, I wasn't sure if I would be able to keep up with it and had just accepted that I would fall behind.  I'm kind of surprised that I was able to keep up after all, but like I said, it was a fun project.

The Sharon Show

I knit it as written but I did add extra repeats where the pattern said they would work.  I didn't make notes while I knit it, I just followed along with the pattern and a row counter.  I will admit this - I've mostly ignored the mosaic and slip stitch knitting patterns in my stitch dictionaries, but after knitting this wrap, I will be paying more attention to them!

Your colors made for a very lovely Sharon Show shawl. Mine is a bit...gaudier I guess; hot pink, light pink, speckled cream and medium blue. My neighbor said it was "childish" which I don't think she meant as an insult but I kinda took it that way! Anyway yours is lovely. Are you doing the cowl (Secret Handshake) that Sharon added at the end? I was going to but have not yet started. Not at all sure of my colors. (If you want to see my shawl I am kayT on Rav too.)
