A Red Blur

Well, I decided to be nice and show you the red thing I've been working on. Oh, did you expect it to be in focus? Yeah, that's not going to happen yet. Sorry. At this point I'm more than 1/3 of the way through with it. I'm going to slow down on knitting the red thing for a bit, since I can't show you what it looks like until the last clue goes out for the Mystery Stole. In case you were wondering, this red thing is the "Extra" that will be part of the official Mystery Stole 3 Pattern. I like to put in extra designs or variations with my patterns and the "Extra" for this pattern, while it has nothing to do with the theme of the Mystery Stole, does take some of it's patterning from the stole, so I can't show you what it looks like yet.
Thanks for all the wonderful comments about Genesis on Friday's post! You guys are the best!
For those of you who have been asking questions in the comments: Blogger doesn't give me email addresses with comments, so I can't reply to you. I'm not being rude on purpose. I'd be happy to answer your questions, you just have to leave your email address for me. Oh, and if you were wondering what yarn and yardage I used for each of my patterns, I'm planning on going into each pattern post this week and listing that information. I have no idea why I didn't put it in there in the first place.

I came over from Lime and Violet. My Husband is currently working in Leesburg. Once in a while I come down with him for 5 days or so. Are there any knitting groups in the area? Thanks.

Melanie, I know your focus is on the Mystery stole #3, and I don't blame you.

It's just that I've almost finished my/your Hanami stole. And it's so wonderful. Grovel, grovel.

Melanie, I couldn't find an email for you either. I accidently left MS3 when I tried to change the mail setting. Would you be able to get me back in? My Email is Trilaja@aol.com.

Thanks, Mary

When I opened up your blog , I was like "What?" - this is so not like Melanie to post a blob - well, as I read on I then realized - it is like Melanie - another teaser that we need to be patient for and as always, the best things come to those who wait!
Thanks Melanie :)

Melanie, I have the same problem as Mary. I have Clue 1 & 2 and when I tried to change things after receiving hundreds of emails on said subject I left by mistake also.

I'm one of the multitudinous MS3 knitters, here to read while the kids are awake. (I can't knit on MS3 until they're asleep!) I'm really curious to see what the extra will be. :o)

On emails and Blogger: I think that if Blogger users select the "Show my email" option in their Blogger profile, comment notifications you get via email will have their email address in it. (I just edited my profile to show my email address, so hopefully it works!) You can choose any email address to be available in your profile, so it doesn't have to be your username email. (My username email is partly my last name, so I don't want that. I use one of my blog-specific addresses.) You can go and create a Gmail account just for your Blogger contacts, if you like. (And Gmail has amazing spam filtering, so even if spammers get it, odds are you'll only see a few of them.)

Hth . . . ;o)
