I'll be back...

I just wanted to let you know that blogging will be sporadic over the next couple of weeks. We've got school starting here soon and will have to get into that routine (which I know already will move my blogging time to later in the morning) and I'm still working on the pattern version of Swan Lake, so there just isn't that much to show anyway.

I'll pop in when I have something to show or when I finish the pattern up, but until then I didn't want you to worry that I'd been attacked by The Fiendish Fans of Fun Fur or some other sinister organization.

Hi Melanie,

I have a question about my knitting Leda's Dream for a charity auction.

Would you please email me at

finley at comcast dot net ?

Thanks! (I emailed you from another address a few days ago, but I'm not sure if you've gotten that message. Sorry to clog up your comments with this~)

Love your designs, BTW!

Nancy

This is the first time in 18 years that we don't have anyone going back to school. While my younger son doesn't appear to be too broken up by working for a living, I am feeling a little nostalgic and may have to go out and buy a box of crayons just to calm my inner mother. Conversely, the ceremonial Autumnal Buying of the Sneakers continues as it has every fall since 1989.

Lordy, do I understand the back-to-school stuff. It's got me quite tied up as well. But once the new routine is settled, I get about 2 more work hours a day. Bliss!

Just got back from the State Fair, but wanted to tell you that I saw daughter Joy's MS3 shawl! It is totally awesome. Wish I were svylte enough to wear it, I'd steal it. It will be beautiful for anything, but I envision a winter bride wearing it with a hand-knit wedding dress (but my granddaughters have 44 years before they can get married!!)

Blessings
