Weather assisted knitting
When we woke up Saturday morning, I stumbled out of bed, threw on some sweats (yes, we are glamorous here in the mornings), and took Finn outside. Sometime during the night between Friday and Saturday the weather changed because while Finn enjoyed the brisk temperatures, I stood there shivering waiting for him. As you can see, being cold has had a direct effect on my knitting on the Solace Stole. I've got inspiration to get it finished quickly now! I've started my third repeat of the pattern and I really like the way it's looking. I think it will be a nice, cuddly wrap once it's done. I've got yarn and patterns picked out for several sweaters too so I should be able to knit my way all the way through the Fall!

That's so beautiful. Fall always has an inspiring affect on knitting, I think. Maybe it's something in the air.
Very very pretty! It looks warm already!
That looks really cuddly. Probably a stupid question, but where did you find the pattern?
That is such a beautiful pattern. If I like knitting cables, will I enjoy knitting Solace? Seriously thinking of purchasing.
Yep, it looks really cuddley.
Also, you have georgeous beautiful carpet to have a puppy around - I am envious! :)
Lol, i thought the same thing...fall officially arrived sometime saturday! Hubby picked up a beautiful handspun fiber afghan kit at the fair this weekend for me.....soon!
Love your cables!
Yes, we've just got our first hints of autumnal weather here in the UK (though, to be honest, most of our summer has been pretty autumnal!).
Thanks for the clarification re: the Mystery Stoles, btw. And Solace looks a fantastic pattern - ell done to your mum!
