New Socks

DSC03150
Having finished the Shur'tugal socks, I've started a new pair of socks (of course). This is my Lava Flow pattern from the Fire - Elements Sock Collection II. The yarn is Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock in Winona. I decided to use this pattern because it's an easy one to memorize and I wanted to see how it looked in a yarn with more going on. I'm really liking the way the stitch pattern is working with the stripey pattern in the yarn (and of course the color scheme is just about perfect).

I hope you all have a great weekend!

Really, really nice. I love how the colors are working for you. I just came across your blog last week and now have it bookmarked as a favorite. Hug your Golden boy from me and my Goldens.

Just bought a whole bunch of your patterns today and can't wait to get home from work to start a pair of socks. I love the top down and nice patterns are tough to find. I usually only use 56 stitches instead of 64 but will just drop to size 1 dpns and all will be well. Am posting on my blog tomorrow and am linking yours. Will encourage others to buy patterns. I love automatic downloads!

I've been on vacation and am just catching up on your blog now. The colors in this sock are yummy. I also adore the photo of your dear dog with the shawl on his head. (I love your dog, he is so wonderful)

I really like how the colors are coming out- the striping really seems to compliment the pattern nicely.
