Spinning

DSC04283
This is the second bobbin of the BFL. I'm more than halfway through the fiber for this bobbin and I hope to finish spinning it and start bobbin three today. I'm enjoying getting more spinning time in and most days I have spinning buddies. Finn has been coming in and curling up in an impossibly small ball of doggy so he can fit under my sewing machine table or under my spinning chair and Caleb has been bringing in a book or twelve and a blanket and making a nest in the middle of the room. Ramius doesn't like to sleep where Finn is and he doesn't appreciate the music while I spin, so he tends to stay downstairs while I'm spinning, but as soon as I start knitting, he's there keeping my lap warm!

Have a great weekend, and I hope you have buddies to spin and knit with!

That's so cool that your son likes to hang out with you and read while you spin! Quality parenting time!

I have been spinning while my husband works or reads in the living room near me. It is very pleasant to be together even while not speaking (meaning the quiet, not that we are "not speaking").

The color on your bobbins looks very nice. I hope you'll be sharing what you plan to make with this new yarn when it's completed. I have a doggy buddy that curls by my feet. I've tried to convince myself that she wants to be near me, but I'm afraid she likes to be near the a/c vent.
