Down for the Count

I'll probably be out the rest of this week. On Tuesday afternoon Mickael was diagnosed with pneumonia but we seem to have caught it early enough that he didn't have to be hospitalized. He's here at home resting and taking superpowered antibiotics. This morning Caleb woke up sick so he's off to the pediatrician later this morning to see what's going on with him. Hopefully it will be something minor. So far Logan and I are fine, but for obvious reasons, there's nothing bloggable going on around here. I'll be back next week (hopefully) and in the meantime, be sure to wash your hands and get plenty of fluids!

Hope you and Logan continue to stay well! My BIL had pneumonia a couple of years ago but they caught it early for him too.

Sending good thoughts for quick recoveries for the guys. Hope you and Logan stay well. Take care and make sure you get enough rest, too.

I have had pneumonia twice. I do not envy him. I'm sure Logan will make a kind and caring nurse while you are busy with Caleb.

Running between two sick boys can be exhausting. You and Logan take good care of yourselves.

Erin, I stumbled upon your blog this morning and have spent the whole day reading it. I'm a woman raised in a small city and now living in a sprawling suburban area. Some of your posts made me laugh out loud, and quite a few made me think about the independent farmers and their daily lives. Some brought tears to my eyes and some made me realize how your faith plays such a major role in your lives. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences with a city "girl" who's old enough to be a grandmother now.

Melanie, sorry about the cross post, I don't know how that happened. I wrote that I hope Mickael is better soon and that Caleb doesn't have anything seriously wrong too. You need to take care of yourself, get plenty of rest and wash your hands or use that sanitizing hand cleaner frequently.

Sounds like a job for EmergenC! (for you, I mean...)

Hope you stay well, don't lose your sense of humour, and that the invalids will recover speedily!

I hope your boys feel better soon! This is the perfect time to teach Logan a useful trick, how to fetch the OJ!

Good luck to you and Logan and speedy healing to your boys. Pneumonia isn't any fun (been there, done that). Glad they caught it quickly. However, that means that he will be sensitive to bronchial problems from now on ... watch him closely.
