Logan's Day

DSC05334
Mommy said I could blog today! She said I did need to tell you that she restarted the scarf she showed yesterday. She thought it was going to be too wide so she restarted with one less repeat. I asked her what a scarf was and she said it's something people wear around their necks. I guess it's some sort of people collar? Why don't you people just call it a collar? I hope it makes jingly jangly noises like my collar does, then I'll know where she is so I don't get caught with things in my mouth that aren't supposed to be there (according to her).

Mommy said she told you about my trip to my grandparents last weekend. They've got the biggest waterbowl you've ever seen - everyone gets in it and plays! I also tried to play with Zack. He's another Golden Retriever but he didn't want to play the games I wanted to play. I even tried barking at him to get him to play but he ignored me. I think he might have been doing it on purpose. I moved all his toys around for him while I was there. It was a lot of fun doing everything, but I was really tired when we got home. I still don't really like riding in the car but I do like going to see my grandparents. My other set of grandparents is close enough I can walk over there. That's a lot of fun to go there too. They don't have a big waterbowl but they have something Mommy calls "cat toys" which I'm not supposed to play with. I do not know what this supposed cat is that has these toys, I've never seen any cat type thing over there, just Barclay, who also ignores me. Mommy says that Zack and Barclay ignore me because they are older dogs and I'm a silly puppy. I thought everyone chased their tail and liked to race around the house at top speed, slamming into walls when they don't make the corners. Don't you? It's great right? Someday, maybe I'll find out what these things are that play with cat toys and maybe they'll play with me. I bet they race around the house.

I'm going to go now, it's time for my morning nap. Mommy said to wish everyone a fun weekend, so I hope you all have a great weekend - maybe bacon will fall on the floor for you!

It would, indeed, be a great weekend if bacon fell on the floor for me!

There is a reason you haven't seen us, Logan, but we've seen you!!! You are big and noisy and don't smell like Barclay. You don't smell bad, just different. It's the "big and noisy" that we don't like!!
