More Cardigan

 

I'm moving along nicely on the body of my Bentley Cardigan.  I haven't gone button stash diving yet, but I probably should do that sooner rather than later.  I'm leaning towards gray shell buttons, but I'm not sure if I have enough.  Fortunately, they're pretty easy to find.  I'm also thinking of trying something I've never done before on this cardigan - facing the button bands with either ribbon or fabric.  I've been wanting to try this for a while but I've always chickened out.  I think this is the sweater to try it on!

I've found a few tutorials online, but if any of you have a favorite tutorial for this technique, feel free to link to it in the comments.

Also, just FYI, I won't be doing this until I've knit the entire sweater.  I don't want to get anyone's hopes up that this will happening later this week or anything.  I've got a ways to go before any button bands get faced!
