We Now Return to Your Regularly Scheduled Blogging

Sorry about the radio silence.  We had some technical difficulties here when I tried to update my computer and I managed to turn it into a brick.  The Apple Genius Bar people were able to get my files off of it and put them on my new computer, but there's still a lot of sorting out I need to do with the new computer.  Throw a double vet appointment on top of all the computer fun and that's why I have been missing.  (Logan and Max are both fine - they just had to go for their yearly checks.)

Ravelry Red footie socks
I have been knitting through all the craziness around here and I've finished my Ravelry Red (also known as one of the best reds ever) footie socks.  You've seen this pattern before and (spoiler alert!) you're going to see it again.  I love these socks!  I've already picked out another partial ball of leftover yarn to make another pair.  These are currently my only portable project, so I'll just keep cranking them out!

I hope to return to the regular blogging schedule now.  BTW, does anyone have a favorite way to back up files on a MacBook?  I really need to learn how to do that.

Time machine is part of macOS and it's what I use to back up. Either onto an external hard drive, or I have a network storage drive I got off amazon that I back up to. Super super easy. Highly recommended.
