Back to Socks
I woke up this morning to a world covered in ice. Everything is edged with a delicate fringe of icicles. We're supposed to get above freezing later this morning and get regular rain this afternoon, so I'm hoping that will clear some of the ice away. The back patio is a solid sheet of ice and even the little birds are having trouble making clean landings.
I've gotten back to work on my Easy Peasy socks. Actually, I've gotten back to the second sock since the first was finished before the end of last year. I did the heel turn and I'm working my way down the foot now. I haven't woven in any ends on either of these socks yet. I've carried yarn as much as possible, but there are still a lot of ends. I'm kind of trying not to think about it.
I still haven't plied the singles I finished spinning last week, but I hope to get to them this weekend. I hope you all have a wonderful and cozy weekend (unless you're in the middle of summer right now and cozy doesn't sound like a good idea).
