My First Pair of Socks for the Year Are Finished!

Here they are! The first pair of socks for the year - the year being 200Sox! These are the Latvian Socks from Folk Socks. They are knit from Knit Picks Essential sock yarn on size 1 needles. I'm really happy with the way they came out and they were fun to knit. The lace pattern is easy to memorize and of course, the directions are very clear and easy to follow - even for someone who doesn't understand how a heel flap can possibly turn into a real heel.
