Camp Loopy
Thanks to some movies over the weekend, my scarf is getting much longer! I included Max for size (or, he included himself, but kitty photobombs are always loved around here). It's about 36 inches long right now - this is a total guesstimate on my part since I'm too lazy to actually measure the thing. I might be about halfway through the skein of yarn, but I'm not sure on that either. Clearly, this is not a precision type of project - I'm just knitting until I run out of yarn.
I was looking at it all spread out this morning (or as spread out as it spreads right now), and while the colorway is Peacock, which I get, the stripes in this project look kind of tiger-y. Then I started thinking about what it would look like if someone crossed a peacock and a tiger and what a beautiful cat that would be. Then I realized I needed to get some caffeine and quit thinking quite so much in the morning.
